CRIME update for June 2026

Dear Resident

Here is an update regarding Burglaries, Vehicle Crime and Criminal damage which occurred in the New Basford Police beat area during the month of June.

Burglaries residential = 2

Between 30/05 and 07/06 Radford Road – TV and extension cable along with amazon firestick, bedding and towel stolen. 

12/06 Springfield Street – 3rd party report of burglary of a dwelling.

Criminal damage = 3

07/06 Sherwood Rise – Vehicle egged by youths causing cosmetic damage.

08/06 Langtry Grove – Male has put window through with a bottle.

22/06 Gladstone Street – Damage caused to vehicle whilst occupant away on holiday.

Theft of motor vehicle = 2

13/06 Hedley Villas – Attempt theft of motorbike at midnight, vehicle had lock on and disturbed by neighbour before offender ran off, incident captured on video doorbell - footage showing offender on foot, damaged caused to the ignition of motorbike.

22/06 Egypt Road – Theft of vehicle without keys.

Theft from vehicle = 2

26/06 Mount Street – 2x vehicles broken into and items stolen from within.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU LOCK ALL YOUR DOORS AND WINDOWS, ENSURE YOU REMOVE ALL VALUABLE ITEMS FROM VISIBLE VIEW
